Responsibilities
- Patrol the building on foot, looking for smoke, flames, sparks, and signs of fire.
- Stay alert and actively inspect rooms and spaces throughout the building.
- Use a digital software system to scan QR codes at checkpoints, recording movement and timestamps.
- Refer to the site safety plan and notify emergency services if a fire is detected.
- Use a fire extinguisher if needed to put out small fires.
- Maintain 100% auditory and visual awareness; no personal electronic devices for entertainment are allowed during duty.
